This 16-page first edition booklet contains 9 classic afghan/blanket patterns, a mix of crochet and knitting patterns.  The patterns use worsted weight yarn, recommending “Chadwick’s Red Heart Knitting Worsted 4 ply”, which is virtually equivalent to modern worsted weight yarn (such as the Red Heart yarns seen in big box department stores pretty much everywhere).  You may need adjust the size of the crochet hooks/knitting needles you use to achieve the gauge/size a bit, but overall, these patterns read in such a way you should have few to no problems understanding them in a modern context.  The patterns are straightforward to follow, and I would rate them as mostly easy to perhaps a bit moderate in difficulty.

This digital scan is a complete reproduction of the entire booklet.  Each page has been lightly cleaned up, but it has not been retyped or updated to current knitting terminology and/or techniques.

THIS IS A SCANNED BOOK OF PATTERNS.

This book has NOT been retyped.  Should it be retyped by me in the future, you will automatically receive the updated version.  Should you have any issues with reading the text of the patterns, please let me know and I will adjust the scan as needed for you.

This listing is for the pattern only, NOT a finished product.
