This 48-page revised edition booklet contains 22 or so assorted sweater and cardigan patterns designed for men. The patterns mostly use vintage Bear Brand or Fleisher “supra mohair, Win-Spin, Gigantic, Four Seasons, Win-Sport, Wool and Shetland Wool, and Winsom” yarns. Modern sport, DK, worsted weight and bulky yarns should work with minimal hassle. Overall, these patterns read in such a way you should have no problems understanding them in a modern context. I would rate the patterns as easy to moderate in difficulty.
This digital scan is a complete reproduction of the entire booklet. Each page has been lightly cleaned up, but it has not been retyped or updated to current terminology and/or techniques.

For some vintage patterns, this is a reasonable equivalent to "rug yarn."
