This 36-page booklet contains about 17 or so assorted crochet and knitting patterns. There’s no copyright date anywhere in the book; I have dated it to most likely from about 1963 to 1967. Every pattern uses vintage “Aunt Lydia’s Rug Yarn”; modern rug yarn/bulky yarn should be a good equivalency. Overall, these patterns read in such a way you should have no problems understanding them in a modern context. I would rate the patterns as easy to moderate in difficulty. For some vintage patterns, this is a reasonable equivalent to "rug yarn."
