Socks, socks, and more socks! This 40-page first edition booklet contains 30 or so assorted sock, slipper and stocking patterns. The patterns mostly use vintage “Bear Brand Win-Spin, Ever-Match Sock and Fingering Yarn”, with a few patterns using standard (medium) worsted weight yarn. Modern sock, sport, baby, or fingering yarns should work with minimal hassle. Overall, these patterns read in such a way you should have no problems understanding them in a modern context. I would rate the patterns as easy to moderate in difficulty.
This digital scan is a complete reproduction of the entire booklet. Each page has been lightly cleaned up, but it has not been retyped or updated to current terminology and/or techniques.
THIS IS A SCANNED BOOK OF PATTERNS.
